I am to request that you will state to the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury that upon full consideration of all these circumstances, Lord Grey is disposed to think that the best course will be to apply to Parliament for a vote of the same amount of £25,000 which was granted last year. The effect of this will be to leave the Governor a sum of £14,553 for Public Works.
